Presentation of the first museum wall art collection of Cyber Gods by Katy Zinger
Greetings to all lovers of wall art and art photography!
I am overflowing with happiness, as today I want to tell you about my first collection of wall art I created with my favorite team. These are live photos of real beautiful people in my exclusive created costumes, from a lot of nontraditional material, like pipes, duct tape and plastic or construction profiles and hoses. It is not works of artificial intelligence as you might think. Each photo has undergone minimal hand retouching and color correction.
The semantic idea for this crazy and freaky collection of photographs started in my head a long time ago. Each character in this shoot represents a modern concept that did not exist in the world of ancient people. The modern world has changed our lives and our thinking very much.
Never before has humanity and human perception of the environment been so transformed by information technology and the marketing strategies of global corporations. Human life in a constant marketing info-noise has generated in us new values, concepts and social phenomena.
People of antiquity believed that an appropriate god or goddess was responsible for each such phenomenon. I present to you the modern gods responsible for such modern phenomena as: the film content industry, recycling, obsession with beauty and related mental disorders, the video game industry, and of course the total exploitations of sex.
In the Cyber Gods section of the site you can read more about each of these gods. In the same section, a portfolio of this series is available for download in PDF format.
Very soon, it will be possible to buy prints of this wall art collection in my online shop. Until then, I am negotiating with curators of exhibitions and galleries. If you have a desire to sponsor an exhibition of this collection – please write to me on WhatsApp or Telegram.
