Greetings to all friends and connoisseurs of the Katy Zinger brand!

Today I’m going to tell you how I was inspired by cyber and futuristic style in creating unusual outfits for my latest stage costume collection.

First of all, I will say that the style of creating extraterrestrial creatures and characters is my favourite direction in creativity. Therefore, while creating costumes and accessories for the latest collection, I also thought of some fantastic creatures and mutants, into which people will probably turn sometime, many years later, if they stick to the modern way of technology development.

This path could eventually lead to overproduction, total pollution of the planet, and the creation of biomechanical humans. And one of the most important resources for creating clothes – will be rubbish.

Thinking about this, I made some sketches of future cyber chimeras, which then turned into full-fledged outfits created from old pipes, hoses, construction profiles, leather scraps, recycled clothing, duct tape, wire and other unconventional materials.

Masks – respirators, spikes and hoses sticking out of their heads, long claws – tentacles, armor and spiky spines with long tails and completely unknown humanoid monsters – this is how the audience saw the heroes of my last fashion show at the Street Fashion Show 2022.
